We make reasonable efforts to ensure that website content, product descriptions, images and pricing information are accurate. Quotes are prepared using the information available at the time, including product selections, measurements, access requirements, fitting requirements and the agreed scope of work.A quotation does not create a binding contract until it has been accepted by you and confirmed by R’s Doors.The final scope, product choice, price, payment schedule and fitting arrangements will be confirmed in writing before work begins.Surveys and Measurements
Where required, R’s Doors will arrange a survey to check existing frames, openings, measurements and general fitting conditions.Measurements taken during a survey may affect the final product selection or quotation where the original information was incomplete, inaccurate or where site conditions require a different approach.Where a customer provides measurements, photographs or project information without a site survey, R’s Doors cannot accept responsibility for issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete information.What May Be Included
Unless stated otherwise in your quotation, our door fitting service may include:
Measurement of existing openingsA check of frame conditionConfirmation of selected doors, handles and door furnitureProfessional fitting of agreed productsRemoval and disposal of old doorsFinal checks to confirm normal operationAny work not included in the written quotation may be charged separately.Orders and Product Availability
Some products may be subject to supplier lead times, stock availability or manufacturing requirements.Where a selected product becomes unavailable, R’s Doors will discuss suitable alternatives before proceeding where possible.Made-to-measure, special-order or customised products may not be changed or cancelled once they have been ordered from the supplier.Prices, Deposits and Payments
The price, deposit amount and payment schedule for your project will be shown on your quotation, order confirmation or deposit invoice.A deposit may be required before products are ordered or a fitting date is booked.R’s Doors may delay ordering products, confirming installation dates or carrying out work until required payments have been received.
Any additional work, materials, travel or changes outside the agreed quotation may result in an additional charge. We will explain this before proceeding wherever reasonably possible. Fitting Dates and Lead Times
Fitting dates and lead times are estimates unless confirmed in writing.Once an order is confirmed, fitting may usually take place within around 7 to 10 days, depending on product availability, survey requirements and booking availability.Dates may change due to supplier delays, weather conditions, access issues, unforeseen site conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure that:
Accurate information is provided about the property and projectSafe and reasonable access is available on the agreed dateWork areas are cleared where necessaryRelevant parking or access restrictions are disclosed before bookingExisting issues with frames, walls, electrics, flooring or structural conditions are disclosed where knownAny required permissions, landlord consent or building approvals are obtained before work beginsR’s Doors may need to reschedule work where access is unavailable, conditions are unsafe or the property is not ready for installation.
Changes and Additional Work
Older properties, existing frames and previous alterations can reveal hidden issues once work begins.Where additional work is needed to complete the installation safely and properly, R’s Doors will explain the issue and any additional cost before continuing wherever possible.Removal and Disposal
Where removal and disposal are included in your quote, R’s Doors will remove agreed old doors following installation.If you wish to keep any removed doors or hardware, you must let us know before the fitting date.Travel and Service Area
R’s Doors is based in Wisbech and serves surrounding areas.
Travel arrangements will be confirmed before your order is accepted. Properties outside the standard service area may be subject to an additional travel charge, which will be confirmed before work is booked.Fire Doors
Where fire doors are supplied or fitted, the agreed specification must be confirmed before work begins.Fire door performance depends on the correct combination of the door leaf, frame or lining, seals, hinges, latch, closer, glazing and compatible ironmongery.Any required rating, certification, inspection, compliance documentation or specialist project requirement must be agreed in writing as part of the quotation. R’s Doors will only provide documentation or certification that has been specifically included in the agreed scope of work.Guarantees and Warranties
Certain products may be covered by a manufacturer guarantee. The applicable warranty details, period and conditions will be confirmed for the specific product supplied.Manufacturer guarantees may not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorised changes or problems caused by unrelated building conditions.Cancellations and Made-to-Order Products
Customers may have legal cancellation rights depending on how and where the contract was made.Cancellation rights may not apply to products made to your specifications, personalised goods or products already ordered specifically for your project.Where cancellation rights apply and you ask R’s Doors to begin services during the cancellation period, you may be required to pay for work, services or materials already provided.Deposits or advance payments will only be retained or charged in accordance with applicable law and to reflect reasonable costs or losses arising from cancellation.Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.Where goods are faulty, not as described or services are not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may have legal rights to a repair, replacement, repeat performance, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.Liability
R’s Doors will carry out services with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including supplier delays, restricted access, hidden property defects, weather conditions or incorrect information provided by the customer.Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.Complaints

Governing Law
